L’Aglianico
Aglianico is the most prestigious red grape from the region of Campania in Southern Italy. It is a full bodied wine with firm tannins and high acidity, making it a good candidate for ageing. This Aglianico of Beneventino is a wine of great character with an attractive modern profile.
With the trademark colouring of deep garnet, the nose reveals an intense aromatic profile, soft and fruity. Ripe cherry and blackberry aromas blend well with spicy notes that lead to a rich, full, warm and enveloping long finish.
The rich flavours of the wine make it suitable for pairing with rich food such as pastas with red sauces, red meats, roasts, game and hard cheeses.
