Il Verdicchio
The Verdicchio grape is a white grape grown principally in Le Marche, a Central Italian Region in the east. This wine comes from a blend from a selection of vineyards working to, organic farming principles. Fermentation and maturing is undertaken in stainless steel tanks.
The resultant wine is intense with high acidity and light straw yellow in colour. The nose reveals hints of tropical fruit and some floral notes. The taste is dry, fresh and taut. Overall the wine has a sound structure, with a clean and medium to long finish.
This Verdicchio is ideal as an aperitif wine and a perfect in combination with seafood, shellfish, pasta with vegetables and cheese. It goes perfectly with a seafood salad.
